How to set up a new pay grade

The pay grade in payroll is a pay structure that is set against an employee, and dictates standard working time and overtime applicable. 


  1. In the Options tab, click Pay Grade.


  2. Click New.
  3. Enter in all required Grade Details (marked with a red *)


  4. If this pay grade includes overtime, add that in the Special Rates tab.
  5. Click Save.


You can set leave, allowances, and deductions against a pay grade, however we recommend to apply those against the individual staff members as they can vary
