The pay grade in payroll is a pay structure that is set against an employee, and dictates standard working time and overtime applicable.
- In the Options tab, click Pay Grade.
- Click New.
- Enter in all required Grade Details (marked with a red *)
- If this pay grade includes overtime, add that in the Special Rates tab.
- Click Save.
You can set leave, allowances, and deductions against a pay grade, however we recommend to apply those against the individual staff members as they can vary
