How to receipt a warranty replacement part

In the event that you use a part on a warranty repair order, the warranty company may send you a replacement part instead of paying for that portion of the claim. 


  1. In the Parts module, click System in the top left, then Manage.


  2. Click Franchises.


  3. Select the Franchise, then click Edit.
  4. Navigate to the Warranty tab, and tick the box for Does the Supplier Provide Warranty Replacements Parts for $0.
  5. Click Save.


  6. When ordering/receipting that part in, ensure you change the purchase price to $0.
