Under the Stock/Sales tab, you will find the Stock List screen. This screen is used to manage your stock inventory.
The left hand side of the screen contains your filters, so you can choose what displays in the list screen.
If you cannot find a particular stock unit, ensure all filters have been cleared first
In the top right of the screen is a search bar and a few buttons.
The search bar can be used to search anything relating to the stock, including stock number, regos, stock make, or even customer it has been sold to.
The left most button refreshes the stock list screen.
The middle button will take you directly to the sale if the stock has been sold.
The right hand side button will print the current page of the stock list.
Across the top of the screen, you have further filters/tabs that will display stock based on the status.
In Stock - Stock with a status of Normal.
In Stock & Recent - Stock with a status of Normal entered within the date range set in System Options.
Pending & Trade-Ins - Stock with a status of Pending, or is a Trade-In.
In Stock & Pending - Stock with either a status of Normal or Pending.
In Stock & Pending (No Sale) - Stock with either a status of Normal or Pending that does not have a deal attached to it.
All - Every stock unit that has been entered.
Along the bottom of the screen are your action buttons.
Add - To add a new stock unit into your inventory.
Edit - To edit the selected stock.
View - To view the selected stock.
Stock Card - To view the stock card relating to the selected stock.
Sell - To create a sale for the selected stock.
Bounce - To remove the selected stock from your inventory. If the stock you are bouncing has been marked as paid, this action will leave a credit against your supplier. If additional costs have been added to the stock, you will be prompted to move them to another stock unit or an expense account.
PPSR - To run a PPSR (Personal Property Securities Register) search on the selected stock. Running a PPSR check on used vehicles is recommended to help ensure the vehicle has not been previously written off or is encumbered.
Add Cost - To quickly add a vehicle cost against the selected stock. These are costs associated with the purchase of the vehicle, such as freight or PPSR checks.
Deal Calc - To quickly view the expected profit on the selected stock.
Fin Calc - Opens the finance calculator screen. This tool is used to calculate finance repayments in the event of a customer financing the sale of the stock.
Vehicle Desc - Displays the vehicle description paperwork.
Barcode - Opens the print barcode screen to print the vehicle barcode.
As with most list screens in the Eclipse program, if you right click on the column headings you can choose what is visible and move the columns to different positions.
Changing these is per user, so you can have a different view to someone else.
