How to add commission on a sale

Sales commission for vehicle sales can be setup for individual staff members to automatically be added to any vehicle sale. However, these calculated amounts can be overridden or staff added/removed from a sale if required during the sales finalisation.

When a vehicle is moved from Delivered status to Finalised, it will prompt to finalise pricing and add/change any commission.


Commission is based on the gross profit (not the sale price)



In your Finalization screen, navigate to the Commission tab.

If a fixed commission has been set up against the salesperson, click the Numbered % Box to auto calculate.

If no fixed % has been set up, type in Commission or Bonus amount.




If there is more than one staff member receiving a commission on this sale, click the Commission box, then Tab through the fields to add additional commission lines.
