How to charge a service invoice to more than one client

Modified on Mon, 16 Jun at 9:40 AM

You may have a service invoice that has multiple jobs on it where each job will be charged to a different client. This guide will cover how to process this.

This should only be done when charging more than one private client. If the job is for warranty, it should be marked with a type of W (warranty) and charged separately

  1. In the Service Control Centre tab, click Repair Order List.
  2. Find the RO and click Invoice.

  3. Click Prepare Invoice, then Prepare Customer Invoice.

  4. Enter 2 Charge Lines (or more if you have more than 2 jobs on the RO). They will both default to the owner of the vehicle. Click the Drop Down in the Charge Client column to select the second invoice client.
  5. Click the Drop Down in the Job Heading column to select which job the client will be paying for.
  6. Click Work Finished & Invoice Ready once complete.
