Parts Quantities explained

Modified on Mon, 9 Dec, 2024 at 12:43 PM

Eclipse Parts may handle or display quantities slightly different from other software systems and it is important to understand each definition to avoid confusion.

QOH (Quantity On Hand) - Physical quantity on hand. This should be the total at the dealership, including quantities allocated to service jobs.

QAL (Quantity Allocated) - Parts supplied on client orders but not invoiced.

QAV (Quantity Available) - QOH minus QAL.

QRO (Quantity on Service RO) - Are parts invoiced (not on order) to Repair Orders, where the RO is still open.

QOO (Quantity On Order) - Parts on purchase orders.

QOB (Quantity On Backorder) - Parts on backorder.
