The Alternate Supplier to Franchise function allows you to move parts in bulk from one franchise to another, using the supplier entered against the part.
The first step is ensuring the part has the correct supplier against it. In the above screenshot, we can see the part has Camec as the franchise, and Coast to Coast as the supplier.
- Under the Parts Management tab, click Alternate Supplier to Franchise.
- Change Limit List to Alt Suppliers to 0.
- Select the From Franchise.
- Select the Alternate Supplier.
- Select the To Franchise.
- Click Next.
- Select all parts to are wanting to move.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
If you do not change the Limit List to Alt Suppliers to 0, not all the suppliers will appear.
