Service vehicles only require a few mandatory fields to be able to save, however there are many more areas that you may wish to include more detail.
The top half of the screen shows the service vehicle number. You can also link this vehicle to it's stock number, if it is currently in your stock list, by clicking the 3 dots on the stock # line. Below you have the Owners details, and can enter a driver/operator contact if it differs from the owner.
The bottom half is for entering all key identifiers for this vehicle, such as VIN and rego. You can use the Auto ID button to pre-fill the data after entering the VIN.
The Fleet/Billing tab is used to enter a billing client, if it is different to the owner of the vehicle.
The Notes tab is used to enter any additional notes against the vehicle, which will then pop up on the screen whenever you go to book the vehicle in for repairs.
In Service, you can create client deals which can provide the customer with a discount on all bookings, however the Special Deal tab will only apply that deal to this particular vehicle.
The Schedule tab is used to set the vehicles service reminder interval, if it differs from your standard set interval. If you subscribe to Super Service Menus, this tab is also used to hold that information.
The Warranty/Insurance tab is used to enter any warranty details against the vehicle.
If this vehicle was sold by your business, the sale information will display in the Sale Info tab.
