A repair order (RO) is a booking for service work, and can also be known as job cards or work orders.
- In the Service Control Centre tab, click Booking Manager, then Add Booking.
- Enter either the vehicle Rego, VIN, or Owner (client), and click Search.
- If the vehicle does not exist in your system, either click Add New Vehicle to enter all vehicle details, or use the Quick Vehicle Add section to add a few vehicle details, then click Save.
- If the vehicle is already in your system, select it and click Select Vehicle.
- Select the Date for the booking, then click Add Booking.
- In the Booking Details tab, select a Type for the RO (whether it is a service, general work, pre-delivery, or insurance job). If the RO is marked as insurance an extra field will be available to enter the insurance company and the customer excess amount).
- The dates have been select in the previous screen, but you can change here if need be, and also add Time In/Out if your workshop permits. You can add a Priority Code if required.
- Select an Adviser, and add a Purchase Order if required.
- Click on Job 1 to enter job specifics.
- You can change the Job Type if required (customer, internal, warranty).
- Click Load Service Schedule to load a service template.
- Enter a Job Heading. You can assign a Technician, however it is not mandatory.
- Use the Work Requirement, Concern, and Photos tabs to supply additional information for the technician.
- Enter an Estimated Repair Time, then click Add to Schedule.
- You can assign a Time, Tech, and Priority Code, but they are not required. Then click Add.
- Add more Jobs if required, following steps 10-15.
- Click Save, or Save & Print to print the RO.
