A vehicle stocktake helps to ensure that the vehicles you have in your stock list correspond with the vehicles you have in your yard. Usually you would only count the vehicles you have marked as a Normal status, however you do have the option to include Pending and Consignment stock.
- In the Stock/Sales tab, click Stock, then Vehicle Stocktake.
- Click New.
- Select the Branch you wish to undertake the stocktake in.
- Select Yard/Location if you are narrowing down your stocktake to certain yards.
- Tick which Types you wish to include in your stocktake (New, Used, Demo).
- Tick to include Pending and Consignment vehicles if you wish to do so.
- Tick the Makes you wish to run a stocktake on, or tick All Makes to include everything.
- Select the Sort Order. This determines the order that the stock is displayed.
- Click Create Stocktake.
- Print your Stock Sheets. This will give you a printed list of all the vehicles you have, so that you can walk around the yard and tick them off before ticking them off in Eclipse.
- Click on the Vehicles in Eclipse to count them. Counted vehicles are marked with an orange circle.
- You can use the Stock Number Search at the top to type in the stock number, or scan the vehicles barcode, then click Count Vehicle.
- You can also use the filters at the top of the screen to only show specific pages and display counted/uncounted stock.
- Click Close to save and finish later.
- Once complete, click Finalise Stocktake.
