How to create service templates

Service templates are a quick way to add required data into a service booking, such as parts used or notes.

  1. Under the Service Maintenance tab, click Service Templates.

  2. Select the Folder you wish to create the template in.
  3. Enter an Item Code and a Description for the template. (The description later becomes the job heading)

  4. In the bottom half of the screen, click on the Work to be Done tab. Here you can select codes that have been created, which act as notes for the technician.

  5. The next tab across is Work Done. Here you can select sale items from the drop down list, such as labour and workshop consumables. Tab across to enter the Sale Units. (eg. 2 hours of labour will be 2 sale units)

  6. Select the Parts tab, then click on the Drop Down Arrow. This will open the Parts Lookup Screen, and you can select the part to add to the template.

  7. The Sublet tab is where you can attach pre-set sublet repair codes to your template.

  8. The next tab across is Notes. These are notes added either for the technician to see, or to display on the invoice.

  9. The Remedy tab works exactly like the Work to be Done tab, however these are notes that will appear on the customers invoice.

  10. The Extra Detail tab is used to link Super Service Menus (SSM), and can also be used to enter a max price for capped price servicing, or to choose whether this is an upsell job template.
