How to create a new prospect

A prospect should be created in CRM any time you have a customer enquiry at your business. This allows you to actively pursue your potential sale opportunities, as well as document reasons why they may have fallen through.


This guide will cover only the mandatory fields required when creating a new prospect. Please see below for further guides detailing the different tabs within the prospect screen.


  1. In the Prospects tab, click Add Prospect.


  2. The Staff Member and Enquiry Date fields will auto populate.
  3. Select the Prospect Source and the Initial Status.
  4. Enter the prospects Name, Email Address, and Phone Number (The system will recognize if you enter duplicate client details).
  5. Click Save.
