How to create staff hours

Eclipse does not come with set working times for your service technicians, so you will need to create them so that they appear in the drop down list to be selected.  




  1. In the Staff tab, click Service Staff Maintenance.



  2. Select the Staff Member and click Edit.


  3. Click on the Staff Hours tab, then click Edit Staff Hours.


  4. If you have previously created staff hours you can select from the drop down, otherwise click the 3 dots.


  5. Click Add.


  6. Enter a Description, Start Time, and End Time.
  7. Click Save.


  8. Now to can select the hours in the drop down list and click save.



You may wish to create staff breaks as well, to ensure your available booking time is as accurate as possible.


  1. Click the 3 dots next to the break column.


  2. Click Add/Edit Standard Break Times.


  3. Click Add.


  4. Enter a Description and select a Start and End Time.
  5. Click Save.


  6. Tick the box to apply the break to the employee.
