A repair order (RO) is a booking for service work, and can also be known as job cards or work orders.

  1. In the Service Control Centre tab, click Booking Manager, then Add Booking.

  2. Enter either the vehicle Rego, VIN, or Owner (client), and click Search.

  3. If the vehicle does not exist in your system, either click Add New Vehicle to enter all vehicle details, or use the Quick Vehicle Add section to add a few vehicle details, then click Save.
  4. If the vehicle is already in your system, select it and click Select Vehicle.

  5. Select the Date for the booking, then click Add Booking.

  6. In the Booking Details tab, select a Type for the RO (whether it is a service, general work, pre-delivery, or insurance job). If the RO is marked as insurance an extra field will be available to enter the insurance company and the customer excess amount).
  7. The dates have been select in the previous screen, but you can change here if need be, and also add Time In/Out if your workshop permits. You can add a Priority Code if required.
  8. Select an Adviser, and add a Purchase Order if required.

  9. Click on Job 1 to enter job specifics.
  10. You can change the Job Type if required (customer, internal, warranty).
  11. Click Load Service Schedule to load a service template.
  12. Enter a Job Heading. You can assign a Technician, however it is not mandatory.
  13. Use the Work Requirement, Concern, and Photos tabs to supply additional information for the technician.

  14. Enter an Estimated Repair Time, then click Add to Schedule.

  15. You can assign a Time, Tech, and Priority Code, but they are not required. Then click Add.

  16. Add more Jobs if required, following steps 10-15.

  17. Click Save, or Save & Print to print the RO.
